easton, CT

Located next to Fairfield, Easton is one of the most rural towns in Fairfield county with a population of 7,300. Founded in 1757, Easton has been able to maintain its rural flair; with one and three acre zoning areas, it is a densely wooded charming residential and farming town. Many artists and musicians, actors, and professionals make Easton their home. The Easton Public School District is comprised of one elementary school and one middle school. They share Joel Barlow High School, a regional high school located in nearby rural Redding, CT.

Easton values its undeveloped open space, and is lucky enough to be rich in open space. Due to this, Easton is able to offer it's community many recreational outlets. The Connecticut Golf Club and Aspetuck Valley Country Club are excellent private golf courses. The town also provides sporting facilities through its parks, baseball diamonds, tennis courts and 125 acres of open space for cross-country skiing and horseback riding.

Easton residents often commute to New York City from the Metro North train stations in Fairfield.
